Celebrate Small Successes

Tips to Start Celebrating!

Did you know … celebrating your successes, no matter the size, can boost your confidence, increase gratitude, and invite in more kindness toward ourselves? We are speaking from experience and love it!

At Juice, we remind ourselves of the small successes that show up in our day-to-day work and personal lives and are reaping the benefits. Join the journey and review some tips below to start celebrating.

List Your Successes

Write it out! Jot it down. It could be helpful to make a list in a small notebook you keep handy or even in your notes app as you go along with your day. You can also write them down in the evening to end your day with satisfaction.

Remember the successes don’t have to be big. Write down anything you can think of accomplishing throughout your day. Make a list every day for a week and observe what shows up for you. We hope it’s good.

Invite in the Positivity

When you get things done and celebrate it, you may find a shift of energy from within. Invite in the positivity and gratitude that comes with each celebration. Acknowledge the joy. Then allow yourself to feel proud and accomplished for the small victories. This is training your brain to see more good in each situation, and you deserve it. Let each accomplishment fuel the next, and soon you will see a trail of all the wonderful things you do each day. Literally, look at your lists!

Keep it Going Strong

Now, you’ve got the fuel and some confidence. Let’s use it to your benefit. Each week, add in a project and start small. Then push yourself, a little out of your comfort zone each time. Afterward, celebrate in any way you want! A reminder: setbacks are a normal part of the journey and be kind to yourself along the way. Patience is an important part of the ride as habits do take time to rewire.

Wonder how we do this here at Juice?

One way is at our weekly team meeting.

  1. We share something great that happened the prior week. It gets written on a slip of paper, then we review them all at the end of the year to remind ourselves how much we accomplished.

  2. We talk about three projects that we enjoyed from the prior week.

  3. We have a non-work question such as “What do you wish you had more energy for?” This makes us think about a positive change we’d like to build into our personal lives.

Oh, and we each have a journal to write about one positive thing, big or small, that happened that day.
