Can you believe it’s June already?! Time for a mid-year marketing check in. Review what’s working, what’s not, and then adjust accordingly.

Marketing techniques can evolve and change as your business grows. As a business owner, it’s smart to stay aware. Determine the best strategies for your business to thrive while still staying true to your values. Below are a few questions to help you reflect. Think about each, because your answers may give your business the boost it needs for the second half of the year!

Are you engaging with your target audience?

This is a big one and where we recommend you start. Evaluating who your target audience is and how they receive content or information can change the way you market significantly.

How are you expanding your brand awareness?

In other words, how do you showcase your brand? How do you share it with your consumers and potential consumers? Is your logo and branding consistent and clean? Your brand is how your customers SEE you. Are you gaining their trust through your marketing strategies or do you need to put in more effort in this area?

How do you balance your in-person vs. online presence?

This can be a tough one. Both an in-person and online presence is important, but how you choose to balance the two is up to you and your business. Decide how much of your time should be focused on face-to-face engagement with the community and how much of your resources should be spent on online engagement such as social media. When in doubt, balance the two and start from there!
